These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Salt and Feather website and establish general terms applicable to inquiries, creative services, photography and video work, editing and production, web design, licensing, prints, real estate coverage, and private trips or expeditions.
This website is provided for informational, portfolio, inquiry, and business purposes. You may browse and share links to public pages for lawful personal or business purposes. You may not copy, reproduce, scrape, republish, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit website content without prior written permission from Salt and Feather.
Information and pricing shown on this website describe general Salt and Feather services and starting packages. Final scope, deliverables, scheduling, travel requirements, licensing, revisions, fees, and other project-specific terms may be confirmed in a written estimate, proposal, invoice, booking agreement, or service agreement. If a project-specific written agreement conflicts with these general website terms, the project-specific agreement controls.
Published prices and starting prices are subject to the stated package limitations and may change as services evolve. Additional work, travel, expanded scope, specialty requests, rush delivery, additional revisions, or third-party costs may require additional fees. A project is not considered booked until any required written approval, agreement, deposit, or payment requested by Salt and Feather has been received.
Photography, video, drone, real estate, and field work may depend on weather, access, travel conditions, safety, permits, property availability, wildlife activity, equipment, and other circumstances outside reasonable control. Salt and Feather may recommend rescheduling or modifying work when conditions are unsafe or unsuitable. Project-specific cancellation, rescheduling, travel, and non-refundable expense terms will be provided when applicable.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Salt and Feather retains copyright and ownership of original photography, video, editing, design work, website materials, graphics, and other creative work it produces. Purchasing a print, booking a service, or receiving digital files does not automatically transfer copyright. Any commercial, editorial, promotional, resale, reproduction, or other licensed use is limited to the rights specifically granted in writing. The Salt and Feather name, branding, logos, and distinctive visual identity may not be used without authorization.
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights and permissions for photographs, video, logos, text, music, property access, trademarks, files, or other materials supplied to Salt and Feather. By providing materials for a project, the client represents that Salt and Feather may lawfully use them for the requested work. Clients are also responsible for obtaining releases, permissions, or approvals required for people, locations, properties, or third-party materials when applicable.
Website projects may rely on third-party platforms, hosting providers, domain registrars, plugins, fonts, integrations, software, payment services, or other external technology. Salt and Feather is not responsible for outages, policy changes, discontinued features, security incidents, pricing changes, or other actions controlled by those third parties. Ongoing hosting, domain registration, maintenance, software subscriptions, and third-party fees are the client’s responsibility unless specifically included in writing.
Unless otherwise restricted by a written agreement, Salt and Feather may display completed creative work for portfolio, gallery, website, social media, award, exhibition, promotional, or self-marketing purposes. Confidential projects or work subject to agreed restrictions will be handled according to the applicable written agreement.
Salt and Feather will use reasonable professional care in providing its services but does not guarantee specific commercial results, sales, audience response, search rankings, weather conditions, wildlife encounters, platform performance, or other outcomes outside its control. To the extent permitted by applicable law, Salt and Feather is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of this website or services. Any project-specific remedies or limitations contained in a signed agreement will control for that project.
